The Dominatrix Yellow Pages (Speaking To Sarah At DommeDirectory)

The day-to-day workings of a professional dominatrix can leave many with the woeful delusion that we have an entire army of submissives doing our bidding without question. You soon start to realise however that there’s more to the image of a powerful goddess than many would realise, with 99.9 percent of our administration efforts going unnoticed and unannounced to our clients and the wider world. Confidentially is rule number one of the pro-domme game, because you’d like to be reassured that the woman whose just spent time with you in a private capacity isn’t then going to go plastering your personal information and deepest secrets all over the nearest online billboard. The same can be said for the professional dominatrix, as most operate without the knowledge of their closest family and friends or even alongside another full-time occupation. Like their clients, they too feel that they need to place their health, safety and welfare into the hands of those who have good intentions.

With that thought in mind, I wanted to take the time to tell you about an organisation which has very recently assisted me in my pro-domme journey. During a perfectly normal afternoon when I was halfway through answering my client session enquiries, an email dropped into my inbox. The email in question was from a lady by the name of Sarah, owner and organiser of an organization called ‘DommeDirectory’. At first the email sounded generic, the sort of email which would’ve been sent to a multitude of individuals as an advertising hook in the hope of scooping up a sale. Sadly I’ve seen how easy it is to scam individuals first hand, so was a little suspicious of the email thinking that there had to be a catch somewhere. Having said that, something in my gut told me that this email wasn’t the normal scam hooks that you see being generated by criminals using an artificial intelligence app.

So I wrote back in my professional tone stating that I was interested in their offer, with the proviso that if money is required to be paid then I wasn’t interested. And if money needed to be paid, I would require a forensic level of scrutiny before I started signing pay cheques. Fortunately Sarah had come up with a system for her DommeDirectory website which meant that dommes would advertise for free. Again, I questioned myself as too where the catch would be in this ‘too good to be true’ scheme. A wise lady once told me that nothing in life was free, like those adverts that make a claim for items which are free if you purchase two of the same item. (In other words ‘buy one get one free’). On this occasion however there was no catch, as the funding element came from the submissives. Normally when you see a dominatrix directory advertising page they have a free listing element, and then it’s down to said domme to then pay up if they want more advertising.

Now there’s nothing wrong with this, as the domme directory pages have to make money themselves to pay for basic maintenance of course. The trick is that the free listings can also be viewed for free, allowing timewasters to easily access these pages and then harass professional dommes with impunity. Sarah at DommeDirectory however had an alternative brilliant idea, whereby she lists the pro-dommes with full profiles but with the contact details censored. So what’s the point in that you may ask, as you’d need the details to contact said pro-domme for a session? And in that you would be correct, but by charging the client to see the contact information for send pro-domme you’re reliably preventing the timewasters from intentionally harassing you. For someone who isn’t keen on being harassed by timewasters (as most pro-dommes are if I’ll be honest), Sarah’s concept is truly a capital idea.

It’s also helpful to be verified too on the DommeDirectory website, which is something that Sarah takes very seriously with her tick system. Said ‘tick’ symbol on any of the listings means that the profile has been verified by the administrators. An excellent concept considering that since I’ve been listed on the DommeDirectory website that my enquires have increased considerably. It’s understandable that I still get the timewasters, (as any domme sadly does). But in overall retrospect, it’s still displaying that Sarah’s yellow pages for professional dominatrix’s is actually paying off. If you’re a pro-domme and not already signed up to the DommeDirectory website, then I urge you to do so asap. Sarah and her team can be contacted via the DommeDirectory email address at hello@dommedirectory.com where she is willing to communicate and assist any professional dommes out there as well as subsequently point submissive clients in the right direction.

The DommeDirectory website is at https://dommedirectory.com, whereby you can find your’s truly also listed under the ‘Hertfordshire’ section. Please don’t go looking for me in the London dommes section, (as many people mistake me as being a London dominatrix when I’m actually a Hertfordshire one). Thanks again for reading folks, as always, I can be seen for professional dungeon sessions at www.mistresssophieofhertfordshire.co.uk
